Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona will be happening June 28th to July 1st at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona this year. Many safety and health measures are considered by GSMA, from testing, tracing, hygiene, social distance and the usage of technology to monitor occupancy, air-ventilation and air-flow. The measures were developed and approved along with Catalan authorities. The MWC 21 expects to have up to 30.000 attendees.
Despite of some brands have canceled their participation, MWC Barcelona 21 prepared different ways to attend: virtually and in-person. The hybrid experience allows participants to virtually watch the contents, workshops, and participate on virtual tours, networking, and partners programs. On the other hand, many other exhibitors will be attending the MWC Barcelona 21, from carriers to equipment manufacturers.
